Motorhomes, as introduced in the main page, can be referred to RVs that are self-propelled. Campervan also falls into this category. However, in Taiwan, a campervan usually is not equipped with a kitchen, a bathroom, etc., but only the sleeping-purpose gears. The exterior of a Campervan does not look much differently from a regular van, so if you are the kind of person who doesn’t like to draw people’s attention. A car without eye-catching styles, a campervan, might be a good choice for you to give the first try on RVs.
Although campervans belong to the motorhome category, the term, motorhome, is usually used to refer to a bigger recreational vehicle. A motorhome is built from two parts—a chassis and living quarters. In SUNQ RV, the chassis we use for motorhomes are imported from Iveco, an industrial vehicles corporation in Italy. Generally, the cars we often see on the road are made of steel, and the temperature changes rapidly along the outdoor temperature. We would not want to waste too much electricity on modifying the temperature when traveling. Therefore, for the living quarters, we change the materials to fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) panels as the exterior for our living quarters. We choose FRP panels for three main reasons—the sturdiness, the lightness, and the poor thermal conductivity.
The three features of FRP panel serve well for the purposes of a wall. First of all, it’s easy to understand why we want the walls of our mobile house to be firm. Secondly, FRP panels are lighter than metal such as steel, aluminum, or copper, etc. so we don’t need to waste too much gas only on carrying around the walls. Last but not least, as we all know, the weather in Taiwan can change drastically from seasons or even from two places. The poor thermal conductivity of FRP panels provides excellent adaptability to fickle weather in Taiwan. Thus, the temperature inside doesn’t alter dramatically with the temperature outdoor. Aside from the must-have features mentioned above, FRP also has a great sound-insulation effect. I guess it’s nice to have some privacy from the wild-life sounds sometimes.
After knowing about the exterior material, let’s take a look of equipment inside. For sure, in a motorhome, we need beds to take rest. Usually, it takes up much room to have a bed, so we modify the sofa in our living room into a puzzle bed. In this way, we can enjoy a living room when friends come over; plus, we can have huge space as a bed when we want to rest. A motorhome is designed to accommodate four to five adults. For different models, our customers have choices to have either a spacious bed shared by all people or two-single beds and one shared bed. Furthermore, in our motorhome, we have a toilet, a shower room, a refrigerator, an air conditioner, and most importantly, a kitchen!
Preparing a meal with family is also a fun activity but the space indoor might be not enough for all people moving around. We also provide a kitchen counter and a stove for cooking outdoor. The counter is attached to the exterior so it doesn’t take up space for storage. Additionally, we also provide the service of installing compact awnings. With a compact awning, campers get to enjoy some extended living room right beside their motorhome. Isn’t it just lovely?

就如同在主頁提到的，露營自走式包含野營休旅車，而在台灣常見的野營休旅車大多只有休息用途，而沒有包含廚房裝備及衛浴設備等，因為只有改造其內部座椅滑軸，野營箱型車的外觀與一般箱型車一樣，在路上並不會吸引太多人目光注意，若您不喜歡在路上受到特別關注，改造野營箱型車或許是您入門露營車的一個好選擇。
雖然野營箱型車屬於自走式露營車的一種，自走式通常用於比野營箱型車更大大車種。自走式的組成有兩大部分：一個是底盤車，另一個是車廂，生魁使用從義大利Ivecoe公司進口的底盤車。通常我們在路上看到車子的材質多為鋼板，但因為其材質導熱性佳，車內溫度很容易隨著室外溫度改變，但當出外露營時，不應浪費太多電源在控制溫度方面，我們使用纖維強化塑膠作為車廂外殼，其中有三個重要因素我們選用纖維強化塑膠：其堅固性、輕盈的特性及弱熱能傳導性。
前面提到的三項特性都是作為牆壁所需具備的，很好理解的是當然我們想要堅固的牆壁撐起我們移動的家。第二點則是因為FRP板這種材質輕盈，比其他車用的鋼板、鋁板或銅板等金屬材質還來得輕，無論任何時候，我們都不應該消耗太多油量在移動的外殼上，因此我們選用較輕盈的纖維強化塑膠板作為外殼。最後，是關於我們熟知的台灣天氣，台灣天氣多樣，不同季節或只是不同地點，溫差可以大到十萬八千里，利用FRP這種材質熱能傳導性差的特性，市內溫度即不會隨著室外溫度有太大的改變，也因此更能減少消耗能量。而除了這些必要的特性外，FRP板也提供了絕佳的隔音效果，雖然到山林中到自然享受蟲鳴鳥叫是種奢侈，但有時享受點個人的隱私似乎也是不錯。
了解我們露營車外材質後，讓我們看看內部構造。想當然耳，露營車一定會有床，但因為傳統的床墊太佔空間，我們改變床墊鋪的方式，用客廳沙發改造，在白天有朋友拜訪時可以作為普通的沙發，想要休息時，只要把床鋪當作簡單的巧拼，拼裝一下即能享受寬敞的通鋪。我們的自走式露營車可以容納五位成人，車內附有衛浴設備、冷暖氣、冰箱還有最重要的廚房。若是想要有不同的休息空間，我們也有提供不同的車款能供您選擇。
